What Data we Collect and how it's used
SpendSnap collects the following data:
- Email: Your email address is used for authentication only if an account is created for cloud sync and backup storage (optional)
- User-generated content: Expenses and related data you choose to enter into the app
- Timestamps: When expenses are created and modified
- Anonymized usage data: App interactions such as features used, screens visited, and session frequency. This data is collected without any personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you.
- Locally stored data: When using the app without an account, your expenses and related data are stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
How information is used
- To provide core app functionality
- To maintain your account
- To respond to support requests
- To keep your data synced and secure
- To analyze anonymized usage patterns and improve app performance and features
What Data We Do NOT Collect
- There are no ads or marketing data transferred
- There is no third-party data sharing
- No need to sync or share bank account or credit card information
Where Data is Stored
For users without an account, all data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted. For users with accounts, data is stored in secure cloud storage, encrypted and protected using industry-standard security measures.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time:
- Delete from within the app: Go to Settings and click "Delete Account and All Data"
- Request deletion via email: Email us at plushappsstore@gmail.com from your registered email address
- If using the app without an account, all local data can be deleted by uninstalling the app or using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings (if available).
